Survival of the Fittest
Please be my guest at a reading of SOCIAL DARWINISM by Angela Gant. Directed by Cat Parker.
Winner of the Paula Vogel Award and the National Student Playwriting Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, SOCIAL DARWINISM takes place in four sections: Chimpanzee, Redneck Class, 1950's Middle Class, and Upper Class. The play uses absurdist comedy to mask the underlying tones of misogony, racism, and homophobia. Come see this funny and engaging piece about the social evolution or lack of it, in the history of man and woman-kind.
Featuring: *Eric C Bailey, *Rob Driemeyer, *Anne Fizzard, Rachel Handshaw, *Jesse Johnson, *Maggie Steele, *Chaz Statham, Brittney Venable, Karen Weinberg, and **Maurice Wilson and Meredith Lucio.
