Independence Day is 566 days, 7 hours and 33 Minutes away
After hearing about yet another egregious miscarriage of justice I've come to understand that Independence Day won't truly be here for another 566 days and change. Do you think our country will make it in one piece? Some days I'm not so sure. The one thing I am sure of is that Libby's commuted sentence is just the tip of the iceberg.
We can expect a gradual degradation of our constitution, the value of our justice system, and our standing in world politics until then. The Republicans wanted us to get religion. Well, I've got it. I pray everyday this guy doesn't get anymore of us killed than he already has.
