Rethinking Media, Democracy, and Citizenship
A few years ago I wrote and produced a commercial for the "Bush in :30 Seconds" competition by MoveOn.org. It was the first big event that MoveOn.org put together...at least that I knew of. It was also my first time to write a commercial, film a commercial, edit a commercial and of course..produce a commercial. I made the Top 50 (Somewhere around 119 I think) so I don’t feel too badly about my efforts. If memory serves most of the top 10 were from actual production houses so that makes me feel even better. It was called "Who Do You Work For?".
Some years later I was asked to be interviewed by the folks at "Rethinking Media, Democracy and Citizenship".
Now they've got a website and a publication in which some of my responses are included.
It's funny. This little commercial was a little project I did on the fly enlisting friends to perform, help edit and donate equipment and it is constantly still popping up. Here's the original commercial if you are interested....
